
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public service delivery and improve overall performance, the Ho West District Assembly on Tuesday 24th September, 2024 held a review meeting on the 2024 Performance Contract.
In his address, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor emphasized that the Performance Contract is a key mechanism in the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS) that enable employees and the Local Government Service agree to and be committed to the achievement of objectives and targets in the delivery of service.
Mr. Kporngor stated that the Assembly is committed to efficient and effective governance, with focus on meeting the needs and expectations of the people it serves. He called for collaboration and commitment among staff to achieve both individual and collective targets.
In his presentation, the District Human Resource Manager, Mr. Bismark Von Golloh stated that as part of the review and evaluation process, the Assembly regularly access departments and units performances against set targets. This he emphasized will not only foster a culture of accountability but also provide opportunities for staff development, increase job satisfaction and ultimately enhancing the quality of services delivered to the public.
There was an open forum session where concerns of staff were raised and addressed by the District Coordinating Director.
